A Comparative Review of Several Excellent Slim Wallets
Like many of you I have searched for that ultimate thin wallet that looks attractive while being durable and easy to use. Of course, there is no perfect answer for everyone and some things come down to personal preference and trade-offs. In my search for my perfect minimalist thin wallet I considered the following wallets and ordered each of them to compare against each other and to evaluate in person rather than just web sites of photos. I already owned a Bellroy Hide & Seek, which has been an excellent wallet and after about a year and a half of ownership it has held up well but was a bit thicker than I wanted so I wondered if there was anything better in the market. To make the comparison as apples-to-apples as possible I decided to use the exact same content in each wallet tested. The content is as follows:
A great slim, bifold wallet
I am one who prefers bifold wallets but do like the more secure card slots in the "slim" wallets. This is the best of both worlds. There are two slots on the outside of the wallet. One is clear so you can put a license or ID in it, and the other can store a couple of credit cards and a couple of paper cards (like a health insurance card). There are three card slots on the inside of the fold. Two that allow you to see the top of the cards in the slots and one in which a card can be completely inserted. In the latter, there is a fabric pull that gets pushed down when you insert the card and has a tab that you can use to pull it up to get the card to come up out of the slot. There is not a pocket for cash, but there is a money clip that slips into the center of the wallet and allows you to put unfolded bills in the middle. I prefer that to folding up bills and clipping them to the outside of the wallet like many of the slim wallets require (if they even have a money clip). Unlike the card slots on traditional bifold wallets that can loosen up over time risking the cards falling out, there is no sense that the card slots in this will ever get to the point where cards will be in danger of falling out. And, it is a lot less expensive than wallets with a similar (or the exact same design) and seems to be well made. I will update the review down the line if anything changes, but my first impression is that it is a great wallet.
5 years strong
I’ve had this for 5 years. There are no signs of problems. As they say, the leather has changed colors. I had the light brown one and now it’s gotten some darker shades because of handling it. It’s got character now.
The easy pull for the cards is super great and i’ll never get a wallet without it now.
I had one other wallet like this that used a magnet to shut and it was one of my favorites but the magnet will ruin hotel cards and stuff that is magnetized.
That being said, this is my favorite wallet and i need to buy 1-2 more for the future and for gifts.
after 4 years review durability
I bought two of these wallet back in November of 2018. This is a review of the first wallet which still hold up well but the money clip lose the tension overtime of holding the bills. The wallet is leather and it stretches as time goes by. The hole where the money clip slide will stretch making the hole a bit bigger. After I came home I realized that my metal clip is missing. I will just fold my bills in half and sandwich between the fold. Overall the wallet still hold up pretty well and very surprised the stiches are all intact. The stiches hold so well that the pockets show no sign of tearing. I still have my second brand new wallet in my drawer.
Love it so far.
Just got it for a few days but already falling in love with it. Like the minimized design but still very functional as a normal size wallet. Overall craftmanship is good, material used is solid. I feels like can use it for long. Satisfied with the purchase, at this price range I do not know if there is any better options there as a minimized design.

I was not on board with this new hype of slim wallets, but I needed one for travel so that I can keep in my jeans pocket and this fits perfectly. I do not use it for everyday as I need to carry a lot more on me daily but this is ideal for travel or when going out to nice restaurant with my wife :) I am sure this will last me a lifetime with that limited use - seems to be high quality.
Nice inexpensive minimalist wallet
I don't think there is such a thing as a perfect minimalist wallet. However, there are some that are close and this is one of them. If you are hard on wallets, maybe this one isn't for you. If you want to save your back and carry less stuff then this one is a good choice. I'm happy with the purchase and a few months in and I haven't had any issues.

These wallets never disappoint. Small compared to your traditional wallets and perfect for that minimalist carry. Even when carrying a lot of cards and cash, it's still not too bulky. Very durable. Perfect for a good quality gift.
Best wallet I have had
This wallet here is the best I ever had...I can up to three cards in the driver's license (+ 2) in the photo ID window. In addition, the many pockets for additional credit cards, insurance card...plus it have a pocket just the "Go to" card.
Amazing gift idea.
Beautiful soft quality leather with great craftsmanship. I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend and he loves it. He loves not having constantly pull his card out for purchases, it's a swipe now. He also loves the convenient money clip for random cash purchases. The way the wallet is designed helps keep him organized and clutter free, his wallet before looked like a man purse. He also gets complements and ppl questioning where to buy it when he pulls it out to use it. Feels great to have got him a gift that he loves and makes him feel great??
