Checks all the boxes
I’ve had this wallet for a few months now and it’s still the closest thing I can find to a perfect wallet. I used to have a “Ridge” style minimal wallet, which was nice until I had too many cards, not to mention the money clips on that type of wallet aren’t exactly confidence-inspiring.
This wallet has enough room for a decent amount of cards as well as a more protected money clip area. I was worried the money wouldn’t be secure enough but have had essentially zero issues with it, nor have I ever had to re-wind the clip spring.
Very nice wallet!
My last wallet finally bit the dust and I needed a new one. I had a hard time choosing a new one because I liked my last one so much and couldn't find an exact duplicate without spending almost $200 dollars. I was not prepared to do that. So I settled on what I thought was a "cheap" replacement and went for it. Well, I'm happy to say this is a great wallet. It seems well made and has features I didn't even think I needed but now I think they are awesome. It holds everything I need and hardly seems bulky at all. I highly recommend this wallet to anyone looking!
Outstanding wallet for the money -- great features, great price!
This "Serman Brands RFID Blocking Slim Bifold Genuine Leather Minimalist Wallet" (version 1.0 with the ID window on the inside flap) is an outstanding value for the money. I selected the full grain leather, gray color options. At around $29, I was delighted to find the wallet to be of good quality construction, with tidy, tight, well executed stitching, even grain/coloration, and rolled under edges for durability and a clean finish.
One outside flap (the "front" of the wallet) has a simple pocket with a cutout to aid in pressing cards up and out with your thumb. This slot can easily hold two cards, technically more if you stretch it, but it seems perfect for holding the single card you use most (I keep my main credit card there for easy access).
Could Be The Perfect Wallet
Since retiring and leading a much simpler life, which translated into retiring half the crap in my wallet, and simplifying that too, this is my third attempt at a front pants pocket, man’s wallet and I can absolutely say that THE THIRD TIME IS THE CHARM!! The quality materials, the construction, the utilization space are all both perfect and creative. The ability to spread 6-8 credit and thinner medical cards around into so many slots helps keep the wallet thin, and I love the cash clip set up inside. The coolest feature which gives access to a slot you could otherwise never pull a card out of, is the heavy duty nylon "pull strip" that loops around the other end of the card(s) so can just pull the 2-3 out—kinda like the ribbon that makes it easy to change your smoke detector battery. I go only 4 stars on durability because it is brand new and school is out on how that pull strip will hold up. So far, so perfect!
NEAR PERFECT!!!
I really want to make this a 5 start review. I have looked at 10 wallets to find the perfect one and this is darn near close! it is a 4.5 stars and I will update durability as I use this wallet for a longer period of time.
What I would change... I like that I could pull out the money clip/hook. I would rather it not be there and be closed but instead of an elastic band that goes across the inside on the side that holds two cards. I would also like the pull out card holder to hold just 1 more card. If they make these changes, I WILL PURHASE 100 OF THEM AND HAND THEM OUT TO EVERYONE!!!
So far its is the best I have seen and this includes very expensive wallets. just two tweaks and it will be PERFECT! I recommend purchasing this wallet.
I love my new Bifold wallet!
The wallet is compact and holds all of my essential cards, driver's license, and money. Because of the pull-up tab it is so easy to quickly get my credit card that I use routinely. The other cards are easily accessible as well! The plus is that it is protected from scammers cloning my card because it is has RFID blocking! It will be included in my Christmas gifts to my sons this year.
Smartest wallet I’ve ever owned
I’ve had this wallet for almost 8 months now and I love it. It has a great slim construction and yet I am able to carry 5 credit cards, a debit card, insurance card, license, AAA card, car key card and cash in the money clip. My most used credit card I keep in the pull tab slot and it is so accessible and easy. My other main cards I keep on the other outside cover where I can easily push out with my thumb. Transparent spot for license for easy access. I was looking for so long for a wallet that was Small, but could carry my most essential cards with place for license AND spot for cash without having to stuff it all in a card case where I could never get anything back out. This wallet has it all. MUST HAVE
A review after three years of usage
MTL;DR: It’s a high maintenance wallet so your mileage may vary.
This is a great wallet but it’s not for everyone. I’ve had mine for three years now. I just bought another one because my partner liked my old one so much that I gave it to her. A lot of people here complain about durability but that will be true for any product you buy. The one I bought three years ago still looks new. The reason for that is because I treat it like I treat my phone. I don’t sit on it, I don’t keep it with my keys, I don’t drop it, I don’t overstuff it, nor do I expose it to the elements. If you take care of it, it will last you many years to come. What’s missing from all the reviews that are posting really beaten up pictures of the wallet is how they treated it. Or better yet, how they treat their inanimate objects. So take those negative reviews with a grain of salt (also take the positive reviews with a grain of salt as well, especially from those who’ve only used it for a week).
Quality and Functional
Tried other similar wallets that were not user friendly. Have only just started using the Serman wallet but are very impressed with the quality and ease of use, especially considering my difficulty with hand neuropathy. Great product at reasonable price.
