Initial Reaction
I just received my TRAVANDO Men’s Slim Wallet today. The wallet arrived on time and in good condition. I ordered it along with a Tile Slim (2022) in order to keep track of my new wallet as I find that wallets like to play hide-n-seek with me the older I get. The wallet itself can hold my Tile, my ID cards (3), my insurance cards (3), my credit cards (4), my Subway gift card and $58 in cash. Everything is new and therefore tight fitting, but I am sure that with time the material will stretch a bit thereby allowing the credit cards to more easily be taken out and put into the slots. The money clip is extremely tight as well (good since I usually only carry a few bills at a time). The faux leather seems of decent quality for the price.
Great bang for the buck
I've only had this wallet for a little over a week now but it's working out pretty good so far. I really like the carbon fiber look, it has a realistic look and feel to it. A lot of card slots for the size. Actually it holds exactly what I need to carry, no more no less, so that was great for my needs. As with most new wallets some of the card slots are stiff but are already starting to get a little easier to remove cards as I use it everyday. The RFID protection is a nice touch, especially for the $20 price point. I feel it was a great buy at this price. It replaced a bulkier tri-fold wallet I had been using for about 5 years. I wanted somthing a bit slimmer for my back pocket. Oddly even though it's labeled as slim, it's really not that much slimmer then my old wallet when filled cards. It's a bit longer which fills the length of my back pocket more evenly as opposed to only a portion of the pocket which is more comfortable on the 'ol hiney ??.
Cards only
This is a great wallet however, I do have have some negative perspective comments to a very well made device. The money clip adds a bulky thickness to a point where adding loose cash would thicken the wallet size. This wallet does not have a pocket for loose bills which is a preference of mine over the money clip.
On a positive note. If you only carry cards (ID, credit, business, etc) as a modern business person, then this is the perfect wallet. It protects all you cards from being cross hacked by cyber thieves and keeps all the cards in place (will not fall out).
A good upgrade
I packed around a wallet my dad gave me 25 years or so ago until it fell apart. This is not only a great looking wallet, but I can cram all my stuff in it without it becoming a mess. Maybe I'll have this one for another 25.
As advertised. An interesting wallet.
Kinda odd at first with no area to slip bills - no pocket. But I got used to the money clip very quickly. The slots for licenses or IDs or whatever are Tight. Am hoping they loosen a bit in time. I like the feature where you can have the most used credit card on the outside of the wallet (but protected). Very handy. I like it.
Not as tough as I though
Purchased July 1st and just discovered the material already ripping apart on the exterior card slot. I only keep a couple cards in it and try not to sit on the wallet for long drives. Only gives you 30 day return so unsure if I want to try another. I had another wallet brand for 7 years before it started to fade and tear. Hence why I tried this one. I do like the design though.
Beautiful Workmanship
I purchased this wallet last week in black as a birthday gift to my son. I loved it so much I ordered one in red for myself. I recently downsized my purse and this wallet is perfect for the essentials. It’s stylish and well made. Did I mention I love it?
Not all that thin
Like my title it’s not as thin as I hoped it would be but other than that I am very pleased with it. Craftsmanship appears very good, the leather is smooth and soft feels much more expensive than it is. No problem holding all my cards and a few bills. I bought the smooth black leather and it is far more expensive looking than it cost. If you need a new wallet and are OK with it not being ultra slim than it would be hard to find one any better than this at any price.
Good looking wallet out of the box
The wallet looks good and has a substantial feel, while still being thinner and smaller than average wallet. Enough slots to hold most anyones cards. The outside quick access slot is convenient, but I will wait to pronounce it great until it wears a little. The inside money clip is handy, but be aware that it is quite tight, so it might require some effort to get to your cash! The clip also keeps pressure on the card slots behind, making them a little difficult to remove. Perhaps this will also loosen a little with use. Overall I am pleased and look forward to using the wallet.
Really works well for suit jacket occasions and travel.
Surprisingly comfortable and versatile for a slim wallet. Only improvement would be to align money clip with fold of wallet. Bills stick out if you fold them in half and align the fold go the bills in the classic way with clip. For bills to stay in line with wallet, you have to fold them and put them in 90* perpendicular to the clip. Takes a bit of practice and is still unnatural to most clips.
